What size lampshade should I go for?

There is no hard and fast rule when it comes to sizing, its very much down to personal preference.

Some lamps are chunkier than others and suit a bigger shade, some are the same height yet daintier and suit a smaller shade.Luckily there are a few ways to narrow down that decision! The easiest is to measure the shade thats currently on the base, the measurement we use is diameter (from one side, straight through the centre, to the other side).
If your base has no shade, why not try a few random shades from around the house on as a point of reference, and decide if you prefer something a little bigger/smaller once it’s on. If in doubt, do drop me a line and Im more than happy to help and advise as best I can.

Can I return items?

I hope you love your Brighten Up goodies as much as I do, but if you’ve changed your mind or you’re not happy with them for any reason you can return them to me for an exchange or refund within 28 days.

BESPOKE ITEMS: Lampshades are made and cut to make your order, and are, as a result, non-returnable. If there is a problem however, please do contact me and Im always willing to help somehow! I look at each return and exchange on a case-by-case basis with the ultimate goal of making each and every one my amazing customers happy!
REFUNDS All refunds will be credited to your original form of payment and the funds should appear on your bank statement within 3-5 working days. If you’ve received something as a gift but it’s not to your taste, a refund can only be issued in the format of a Gift Card. If no record of sale is available, a refund will be provided at the current selling price. EXCHANGES If you change your mind about your purchase or the item is no longer suitable, I am more than happy to exchange it for something you love. I will also make sure that you are kept in the loop and will send you an email as soon as your parcel arrives back at Brighten Up, and again when I have processed your refund or exchange. FAULTY ITEMS Im so sorry if you’ve received a faulty item! Before you return your item to me for a replacement or refund, please get in touch via email, live chat or phone as I may be able to save you a trip to the post office! Please note that from time to time I may not be able to accept a return, however, I will always do my very best to accommodate your request and make sure you leave Brighten Up with a big smile! LATE DELIVERIES If your order has not been delivered within the estimated delivery date, please contact me and I will make sure you have your parcel as soon as possible! Please remember to obtain proof of postage from the Post Office when returning items and I can only refund postage costs for faulty or incorrectly sent items.
